Meeting Investor Demand for Environmental, Social and Governance Information with SEC Acting Chair Allison Herren Lee
Investors have grown increasingly interested in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. This has translated into a surge in demand for ESG-related information. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is taking a holistic look at how climate and ESG issues are integral to its work. The agency is moving ahead with efforts across its offices and divisions to account for the ways in which climate and ESG intersect with its regulatory framework.
