‘The Tent’ Live! With Author Neil King Jr.

In spring 2021, in the midst of a pandemic and following a long personal battle with cancer, Neil King Jr. set out to rediscover what matters in life and to explore our national story with new eyes. His forthcoming book, American Ramble: A Walk of Memory and Renewal, documents his ensuing 26-day walk from Washington, D.C., to New York City, and the people and places he encountered that changed his perspective.

Join the Center for American Progress Action Fund for a live podcast event with King, a former Wall Street Journal reporter and editor, about this story of personal and national renewal. “The Tent” is a weekly podcast produced by CAP Action. Listen each Thursday for new episodes on politics, policy, and progress with leading newsmakers and artists.

This event will be held in-person at the Center for American Progress. For the safety of American Progress staff and guests, all visitors are required to show proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status (either physical copy or photo). Masks are strongly encouraged.
