Project 2025: Exposing MAGA’s Agenda

Republican policies to gut the middle class and limit Americans’ ability to make their own decisions have long been unpopular – and also lacked salience for voters. That’s changing thanks to Project 2025. 

Over the course of three months, the number of voters familiar with Project 2025 has surged from roughly 1 in 10 Americans to north of 60 percent. Meanwhile, voter sentiment about Project 2025 has hardened in opposition, with the plan underwater by roughly 30 percentage points. This sea change is the result of Americans learning about the far right’s new authoritarian playbook to gut our system of checks and balances, consolidate power, and usher in a sweeping away of dangerous policies that would harm all Americans. Trump’s takeover plan can raise the stakes of the election and help Americans understand two very different visions for the future of our country.
